Metro Exodus is set in 2036, 25 years after the end of the nuclear war. A huge number of people are still trying to survive in the subway tunnels. They live deep under the ruins and constantly hide in their shelter, not daring to look out. Neither the poisoned air, nor the menacing mutants and otherworldly forces, nor the civil war could kill them.
You play as Artyom, the main character who, accompanied by a squad of SPARTA rangers, will have to leave the metro for a long journey around post-apocalyptic Russia, trying to find a new life in the East. You will be able to see what shape the devastated world takes at different times of the year in all the details and explore it in the context of an intriguing storyline and non-linear levels.
